“Künslterische Intelligenz – Wie Kunst entsteht” [Artistic Intelligenz – How Art is Created]

This is a members’ exhibition of the Verband Bildender Künstler Thüringen e.V. [Fine Artist Association of Thuringia] featuring 26 artists from Thuringia.

Artistic intelligence is coined by curiousity, creativity and critical thinking. Art therefore, is a great medium to explore new contexts and to test boundaries of what artificial intelligence means for our (artistic) lives. Can artificial intelligence give new dimensions to artistic creation? Or, can artistic intelligence give artificial intelligence valuable impulses or set frameworks for this new technology? The terrain is tested with fantastic artworks which we categorised into three groups: craft, process and interface to explore the theme or artistic/artificial intelligence.
